Introduction

Qvalitech Engineering OÜ built QR Code as a Commercial app. This SERVICE is provided by Qvalitech Engineering OÜ and is intended for use as is.

Personal Information You Provide: We collect Personal Information when you use our services or create an account:

  • User Content: When you use our Services, we may collect Personal Information that is included in the input, file uploads, or feedback that you provide to our Services. We collect this data only when it's necessary to provide the Services to you.
  • Communication Information: If you communicate with us, we collect your name, contact information, and the contents of any messages you send.

Personal Information We Receive Automatically From Your Use of the Services: When you visit, use, or interact with the Services, we receive the following information about your visit, use, or interactions:

  • Log Data: Information that your browser or device automatically sends when you use our Services. Log data includes your IP address, browser type and settings, the date and time of your request, and how you interact with our Services.

  • Analytics: We may use a variety of online analytics products that use cookies to help us analyze how users use our Services and enhance your experience when you use the Services.

Ephemerally (In Memory) Processed Data: We may collect and process the following data types for the purpose of providing the Services to you. This data is processed on a temporary basis and is not stored by us, never leaves your device or never shared. The app loses access to the data right after finishing the necessary task:

  • Contact List: You are able to give the application permission to access your contact list in order to simplify the creation of contact QR Codes. If you do so, we load the contact list in memory and display it to you. This data never leaves your device and we never collect your contact list information
  • Image: We collect image information in order to detect QR Codes from images in your gallery when you give QRCode app permissions to do that. When you select image from your gallery, we load the photo you selected in memory and detect the QR Code there. All processing is happening in-memory and on device. We do not transmit any information about your image off the device and image information is not shared.

How we use personal information

We may use Personal Information for the following purposes:

  • To provide, administer, maintain and/or analyze the Services;
  • To improve our Services and conduct research;
  • To communicate with you; including to send you information about our Services and events;
  • To develop new programs and services;
  • To prevent fraud, criminal activity, or misuses of our Services, and to protect the security of our IT systems, architecture, and networks;
  • To comply with legal obligations and legal process and to protect our rights, privacy, safety, or property, and/or that of our affiliates, you, or other third parties.

Service Providers

We may employ third-party companies and individuals due to the following reasons:

  • To facilitate our Service;
  • To provide the Service on our behalf;
  • To perform Service-related services; or
  • To assist us in analyzing how our Service is used.

We want to inform users of this Service that these third parties have access to their Personal Information. The reason is to perform the tasks assigned to them on our behalf. However, they are obligated not to disclose or use the information for any other purpose.

The app does use third party services that may collect information used to identify you.

    We value your trust in providing us your Personal Information, thus we are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. But remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

    These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. In the case we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we will be able to do necessary actions.
